All caps is considered as shouting and shouting isn't really that polite...

You're going to need a lot more than 1.25v to get over 350 FSB.  I do remember the P6N Diamond not being much of a clocker also.

Sorry about the caps.... bonk

Yes my corsair run at 800 Mhz but i found a little increase in performance if I use a 1:1 ratio 'cause my FSB is 1400
With the 1400 FSB I increased y voltage about .05 V with no improve in the performace ... Over the weekend I wiil try to reach the 3.4 Ghz but if my temp pass the 55 idle I will have to return to the 3.15 or change the cooler a little difficult considering the place when I live....

Hi again, after a lot of hours trying new settings I only was able to reach 3.20 Ghz not stable at all but I have to increase in 0.5 Volts the CPU temp, and for me thats a lot considering the gain in speed... So I stay with my 3.15 Ghz settings....

Thank U

 idea

Dude, you need to feed the cpu more than 1.25 v
Increase the voltage above 1.3 v or mire if necessary..
Voltage are like fuels, the faster the CPU the hungrier it gets..

Give it a try though

There are 2 Q6600 CPUs, which one do you have? B3, sSpec #SL9UM (105W) or G0, sSpec #SLACR (95W). The later SLACR G0 stepping does OC much better. Are you using the Intel boxed cooler or an after market cooler? The boxed cooler is no good for OC. 55C idle is not good as that temp is near what 100% would be, it must get pretty hot under a load. What monitoring program do you get that temperature from? You should use >> Real Temp << for Intel CPU.

I'm using my Q6600 B3 & X2 4200+ to heat my living room this winter. If these
things were in my bedroom I'd be sweating in the middle of the night like a hard rode horse. lol_anim

Voltage varies from processor to processor and as Aaron mentioned dont expect much overclocking from the P6N Diamond its kind of a dud in the overclocking department and lots of dead spots in the FSB too. Roll Eyes

My settings are:
FSB 1333
Memory 5-5-5-15 1T 1.8 v @ 667 set on auto.
Northbridge @ 600Mhz 1.3 v
Spread Spectrum, D.O.T., E.I.S.T. all disabled.
3 clicks up from stock CPU voltage 12% VTT

I have the GO spec CPU, but I think the problem is in the mainboard I can't be able to reach any FSB above 1422 MHZ no matter how much the CPU voltage is rised.....   :hat tip:But I make some improvementes with the PCi buses: Nb to SB 800 Mhz, PCI Latency Timer 160, PCI-E Frecuency 126 MHZ (3150).... By the way I use core temp 0.99.3 to monitor my temps, and Im using too real temp but there are a 5ºC between the re4adings of each program real temp low core temo high... my cooler is cooler master Hyper tx2.....
